Minnesota now has a new statewide Large Building Energy Benchmarking requirement.
Large commercial and multifamily buildings are required to submit whole-building 2024 energy consumption data using the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager by 6/1/25. Here’s a link to the 17-page How To Guide. After submission, many will receive questions from the regulators regarding those energy benchmarking reports.
